Tiger TMT Iron Rods are produced by 3 different companies of the African Industries Group (AIG) - African Foundries Limited (AFL), African Steel Mills and Abuja Steel Mills. All their 7 manufacturing plants have state-of-the-art high-tech facilities engineered by Western European and Far Eastern suppliers. AFL is the only steel company in Nigeria with UK CARES, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditations.
African Natural Resources and Mines Limited (ANRML), an AIG company has a fully integrated iron ore mining and processing plant in Gujeni Village, Kaduna State which processes locally mined rich Iron Ore into highest quality Direct Reduced Iron (DRI). This DRI is being used by the 7 plants to produce superior quality new product - Tiger TMT Steel Rebars.
AIG has the largest Iron and steel manufacturing setup in Nigeria, with a production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum of high strength TMT iron rods and allied products. Its customer base includes prestigious Nigerian companies and other international construction companies. AIG is currently focused on further strengthening its base in Nigeria and across West Africa, where Tiger is already a household name in 9 countries, through introduction of its latest product Tiger TMT Steel Rebars.
